SINGAPORE: A man was killed by a moving SMRT train early Friday morning.
According to the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), the force of the moving train had flung the man backwards onto the platform.
The victim, who is believed to be in his 50s, suffered head injuries and died.
SMRT is assisting the police in investigations.
In all other countries, it 's called suicide.
Suicide - especially the train version - is a taboo word in Singapore, where one person commits suicide per day.
Uniquely Singapore!
